I shot this series of photos at a performance at Xishaungbanna Tropical Botanical Garden in tropical China on New Year's Eve 2008. A group of Dai women and girls performed a series of traditional dances. The Dai is the local ethnic group in this area. I shot these hand-held sitting mid-way back in the audience.
